Tiny Handz TM

As mentioned, Tiny Handz offer specialized training focusing on the use of SA Sign Language as a communication tool within the special needs spectrum, used as an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) tool, alongside normal speech / language.

We give special attention to the use of SASL in environments where children or adults have communicative challenges due to Autism, Down Syndrome, ADD, Cerebral Palsy, Asperger’s, Apraxia, Hearing Loss, Intellectually challenges and other medical conditions. The use of SASL enhance and better verbal communication and speech development and deals with a lot of frustration faced with in problematic communication.

8 CPD points apply to those registered with the HPCSA and the SACSSP.

Our Basic training consists of two workshops which is presented in one day. You also do not need to have any Sign Language knowledge to attend or join a training class.
